Wallace Chan founded his gemstone carving workshop in 1974, when he was 17. In 1987, he invented the world-renowned “Wallace Cut”. After 8 years of research, he tamed titanium and created ethereal jewelry pieces that surprised the world.
He is the first Asian jewelry artist to exhibit at GIA headquarters (2011, ), Biennale des Antiquaires (2012 & 2014, Paris), TEFAF: The European Fine Art Fair (2016, Maastricht & New York), and Masterpiece (2016, London). In 2015, his illustrated monograph was published worldwide by Rizzoli. A solo exhibition was also held in HKCEC, at the invitation of Christie's. He recently delivered talks at the Cooper Hewitt Museum (New York) and the V&A Museum (London).
He is globally recognized as the Jewelry Artist and Innovator.
