Over the last 38 years a notable number of internationally renowned artists has been presented in solo exhibitions including; James Ensor, Jean Fautrier, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Giorgio de Chirico, Otto Dix, George Grosz, Gerhard Richter, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Louis Soutter, Georg Baselitz, Arnulf Rainer, and Joan Miró. In addition, specific thematic or stylistic aspects, as well as defined artistic movements, and artistic groups have been exhibited. Examples include: Malwut und Leidenschaft (Painting Frenzy and Passion), Rohe Kunst (Art Brut), Köpfe und Gesichter (Heads and Faces), Mülheimer Freiheit, „3d“, and „Abstract“, 100 Master Drawings. In alternation with Modernist artists such as Otto Dix, Georges Rouault, Andy Warhol, Jean Fautrier, Paul Klee or Francis Picabia, contemporary positions in painting and sculpture are shown, among them John Isaacs, Astrid Klein, Daniel Richter, Norbert Schwontkowski, Leiko Ikemura, and Franz Gertsch. In addition, contemporary art is presented in the context of historical positions. Examples for juxtapositions of Modern and Contemporary art are Leiko Ikemura & Ferdinand Hodler, Slawomir Elsner & Francis Picabia or Günter Umberg & Giorgio Morandi.

Galerie Michael Haas was founded by Michael Haas in 1978.

In June 2003 Galerie Haas AG opened in Zurich and has been managed since then by Dr. Erika Költzsch. In alternation with Modernist artists contemporary positions in painting and sculpture are shown. In addition, contemporary art is presented in the context of historical positions.

Each exhibition is accompanied by the publication of a catalogue or book.
